 High Speed Steel Straight Shank Production Length Reamers

Similar to High Speed Chucking Reamers (433, 435), but are produced with a shorter shank (making them more economical)

Taper Shank Chucking Reamers

Similar to High Speed Chucking Reamers (433, 435), but have a Morse Taper Shank

High Speed Steel Straight Flute Expansion Chucking Reamers

Expansion Chucking Reamers are size renewable. After reamer is worn undersize, the end screw can be tightened to enlarge the reamer, which can then be reground to original size for re-use

These reamers have no relief on the cylindrical surface, but are slightly back tapered, removing considerable material in one cut 

NOTE: They are usually followed by a reamer with cylindrical relief (such as a 433, above) for finishing

High Speed Steel Straight Shank Hand Reamers

These precision ground reamers are slightly tapered on the end to facilitate proper starting and have a standard square on the end of the shank

Valve Guide Reamers High Speed Steel

Designed to accurately ream guides in Cast Iron and piloted for easy centering.

Valve Guide Reamers Cobalt

Similar to the 500 series, but designed to ream Bronze guides and inserts.

Stub Screw Reamers are free cutting production tools which, due to their short length, resist breakage and cost less than our chucking reamers (433).  They have a pin hole for use in floating holders

High Speed Steel Finishing Taper Socket Reamers

Made for finishing both Morse and Brown & Sharpe Tapered sockets

Used for reaming holes for Taper Pin Blanks, such as those in automotive flywheels.  487 and 491 reamers are designed for hand use, while the 488 reamers (Helical) have a straight shank with no square)

Our Taper Pipe Reamers are made for reaming holes to be tapped with American National Standard Taper Pipe Taps.  They will prolong the life of any Taper Pipe Tap, as they ream the hole to the correct size and taper for tapping. Identical to 600, but with a longer overall length for greater reach. 604 series features a 4" overall length while 606 series is 6" overall. Our American National Standard Taper Pipe (NPT) Taps use the Dryseal Pipe Thread Form which yields a pressure tight joint without the use of a sealant.
